the Idea of the drip has shown up in a number of my designs over the years.

I believe it is a place holder talking about the human condition and how when we tend to fall into a deep narrative state of mind we tend fall deeper into it.

but I also believe that the tear drop also represents water and life and how when it hit the floor it creates a ripple affect calling for more life to be lived.
